In 1925 Hermann Hospital opens to public and admits first patient .

In 1942 University of Texas starts M.D.Anderson Cancer Institute which today is a global leader in Cancer research and management and Teaching ,

In 1950 Leoplod Meyer builds 106 bedded Texas Childrens Hospital,

Today it has 23 floors of Paediatric

In 1962 first Heart transplant in US by Dr Denton Cooley in Texas Heart Institute is performed ,

First flying helicopter mefical unit by Hermann Hospital ,

Rice University and Baylor college of Medicine invent a way to grow blood capillaries in 2011 ,

In 2017 Texas Childrens Hospital in collabration with NASA invents plastic isolator for immunocompromised children 

In 1991 Texas heart hospital releases first patient with electric portable battery powered heart pump
