Sad to hear of this loss
An exemplary natural actor with a fine sense of humour on real life too ,a gentleman though entered politics ,we will miss him
One more legend from Mollywood signs off .
Innocent lived to his name of putting his punch subtly ,there never was crassness in his comedy .
Best part of Innocent was his unhurried take of life and penchant to put himself as the joke ,that's Charlie Chaplin genre and they get the best laughs .
I used to like his speeches in public ,
I did hear one or two directly sitting in the audience in his loveable Irinjalakuda slang where he used to berate his classmates and schoolmates who turned into big Dr's and scientists because , they poor chaps had studied in school ,while he , had fun all the way to become an actor by staying in same class for years !
He used to make his being an elected MP also as fun ,though he was a genuine one ,very rare in that breed .
This comes not in having good histrionic skills alone , but having a good humane heart filled with empathy.
A man who could laugh at his own sickness to inspire others ,
well I put him on a pedestal .
Just like we will never stop listening to Rafi Saab ,Kishore ddaa or SPB ,though they and many other greats are no more ,
Just like we won't stop admiring Sivaji Ganesan or Uttam Kumar or Sanjeev Kumar, just like we will not forget Atal Bihari Vajpayee or a Nayanar or an Annadurai because they touched something in us by thier genuinety Innocent too will be feted for long .
People will still laugh at the pained face of Kittunni when he is aware he got the lottery price when he had not ,
or as Warrier the aged assistant protector of Mohanlal in Devasuram and Ravanaprabhu and many many more .
Innocent is immortal .
May his good soul rest in peace forever
